Please pray for Logan this week. We just went to a Pediatric Surgeon today because Logan's pediatrician found a hydrocele on one of his testicles. She said that this can lead to a hernia and we needed to have it evaluated by this pediatric surgeon. Unfortunately, the surgeon said that Logan already has a hernia and we scheduled surgery for this Friday. It will be outpatient surgery but he will have to go under general anesthesia, which is always a little scary. We just went through Eric's eye surgery a little over a month ago, so to have to go through this with Logan so soon is a little overwhelming. According to the surgeon, he should be able to go back to school on Monday but he won't be able to go to recess for a week or P.E. for a month. That might be hard for a kid who is so active.
