Family Reunion in Indiana - Fri. nt.and Sat. a.m.

On the way to the Family Reunion on Friday and Saturday - We all drove out in the RV and back in Dad and Mom's van. Mom and Dad are going to be using our RV this summer to travel up to Alaska on a fantastic trip, including cruises, and train trips (no shocker for anyone that knows dad). We left on Friday night and drove to Wheeling, WV. We called our local Wal-Mart to see if there was a store in Wheeling and they told us "no." We'd been told that Wal-Mart's allow RVers to stay in their parking lots without any hassle. Well, I remembered that there was a Cabella's there and we decided to check it out to see if there were any truckers there because we knew that would mean that we could stay there overnight as well. We just didn't think there was much chance of us getting a campground over Memorial Day weekend and we didn't know how far we'd get. We also thought we'd try out the self-sustaining capabilities of the RV.

We ate breakfast at this McDonald's right across from the Cabella's and Logan and Eric were intrigued with the bubbles in this glass wall at McDonald's. Since there was no Playplace at this one, I guess this was an okay substitute since we finally had to drag them away after about 10 minutes.

As I said, we were parked at Cabella's overnight. Eric came into bed with us sometime after dawn and then looked out the back window. I thought that he was going to say, "Oohhh, trucks!" since there were trucks in his view, but apparently, he only saw the Best Buy sign and said, "Oohhh, shopping!" We thought that was hilarious.
